Not tried on Sky's Netgear modems but the chances are good that the details are the same.
Sky Modem Username & Password Generator
Modems supplied by Sky are self configuring and as such do not have a conventional username and password.
The CM9 website has a generator that will create a username and password if you are using one of following Sky branded modem:
- Netgear DG834GT
- Netgear DG934G
- SagemF@ST2504
You should then be able to use the generated details in a non-Sky modem, for instance the TP-Link TD-W8968 recently set up for a client work without a problem.
