Ubuntu Unity Move Windows Between Monitors

  • Install required software:
sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager compiz-plugins-extra
  • Run CCSM
  • Left hand column towards the bottom click on "Window Management"
  • Click on "Put"
  • Enable the plugin
  • Configure shortcut for "Put to next Output"
  • Log out and back in again.
