LENOVO OneKey Recovery
NOTE: The term OneKey is a bit of a misnomer, it is not a key but a button. In the case of this particular laptop it is found on the right hand side of the unit between the power button and the first USB port. It looks like a recessed reset button and requires a pin, or similar, to push it. Pushing it in will start the machine presenting you with an options menu.

Two Finger Scrolling (Ubuntu)
The ThinkPad Edge 11 has a multitouch touchpad, to allow for two finger scrolling paste the following in to a terminal:

Installing Ubuntu/Linux - UEFI Issues
The folder 'EFI' needs to be renamed otherwise GRUB will not be able to start normally. Easiest way to do this is to create a USB stick install and then rename the 'EFI' folder.
