Webcam Freezes Intermittently Windows

Fix One

• Open regedit
• Backup registry Database

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Media Foundation\Platform

• Create new DWORD (32-bit) value:

EnableFrameServerMode

• Set the value of the new key to ‘0’.
• Restart Windows

Fix Two

• Open PowerShell as Administrator
• Paste the following line and press enter:

Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.WindowsCamera | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

• Close PowerShell and restart Windows
